BFL is built for street-lighting output and keeps running through grid outages, since it stores its own charge on-site rather than drawing from the grid.
Since there is no trenching or grid connection, solar street lighting typically avoids the electrical permitting delays that come with wired installs. Local permitting requirements still apply and vary by jurisdiction.
FLT fixtures are designed for standard poles, such as HAPCO and Nova Pole, and breakaway, T-base, or anchor-base options can be provided on request.
